As part of the schools integrated unit on Government (Democracy) and the 100 year anniversary of the Gallipoli Campaign, an excursion to Canberra has been organised for term 4, 2015. This is an opportunity for the students to discover the many and varied national attractions and cultural institutions that provide stimulating educational programs that assist in the teaching of civics and citizenship, history, science, art and culture.
Below you will find the proposed breakdown and details of the excursion.
Departure - 6:00am on Sunday 18th of October from school
Return - Thursday 23rd of October (arrival time TBA)
Cost - $380.00 per child. This price does not include cost of bus hire. The school will endeavour to cover the cost of transport through fundraising and donations.
Accomodation - Country Capital Hilday Village

In many ways this excursion is a once in a lifetime opportunity for the children to visit the War Memorial in the Celebration Year and to visit Parliment House during a sitting session.
